Menos de Mil is an art fair that emerged in response to the needs of Panamanian artists and residents in Panama who were looking for a permanent space to exhibit and sell their work. This initiative began after a successful auction at the San Francisco de Asís Church in late 2021, where artists faced the challenge of balancing the creation and sale of their art without a consistent exhibition space. The fair offers a modern and accessible platform, with easily transportable works at competitive prices, attracting both locals and tourists in Panama City's Casco Antiguo. Over time, the event has grown and established itself as a prominent venue for acquiring diverse art at affordable prices. Additionally, the fair integrates other tourist attractions within the same religious site, such as the Christmas Village, the Nativity scene, and the church's lookout point, enhancing the cultural and artistic experience in the iconic Plaza Bolívar.
